The United Kingdom’s Environment Agency seeks proposals to supply renewable energy to about 100 sites in northeastern England. Responses are due November 2.
The agency said renewable energy is needed for sites such as offices, depots, pumping stations, gaging stations, and other facilities.
Energy can come from any combination of small hydro, wave power, tidal energy, biomass, landfill gas, sewage gas, farm and forest residue, and wind. The contract does not require construction of any on-site generation.
The agency anticipates inviting about five providers to participate in contracts for 12 months, with options to renew for another 24 months.
Proposals are due to the address below by November 2.
