FERC member to address National Hydropower Association

Federal Energy Regulatory Commission member Philip Moeller is scheduled to address the 2007 annual conference of the National Hydropower Association, March 15-18 in Washington.

Moeller is to address delegates March 17 at a plenary session of the annual conference, �HydroPOWER: The power of moving water.� The commissioner is expected to talk about his views on the roles conventional hydropower and new technologies will play in meeting future energy needs.

NHA said the conference will provide a forum for building relationships among policymakers, stakeholders, industry members, and media. It will feature committee meetings and sessions on legislative and regulatory issues, communications techniques, and advancements in technology. (HNN 10/26/06)

An advance registration discount of $100 off the on-site fee is being offered through Jan. 31. Additionally, a $50 discount on each full registration is available to companies registering four or more participants. To qualify for that special discount, all registrations must be submitted together.
