Mark your calendars for our virtual HYDROVISION Exchange

HYDROVISION International and Hydro Review are hosting the HYDROVISION Exchange, Nov. 16-19, 2020. This live event will be a completely virtual experience that will kick off with a powerful keynote address and provide timely content and education sessions, peer-to-peer networking, and matchmaking assistance between decision-makers and sellers.

Content and session topics will cover some of the themes presented during the summit tracks and knowledge hubs at HYDROVISION International, such as Market Trends and Asset Strategies, Energy Storage, Operations and Maintenance, and Policies and Regulations. We are striving to create additional opportunities that will be focused on bringing our hydro industry virtually together during this time when we can’t be live in person.

A couple of highlights of our upcoming program:

  • Keynote address by John Hairston, interim administrator and chief executive officer of the Bonneville Power Administration. BPA. BPA is a nonprofit federal power marketing administration based in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. BPA markets wholesale electrical power from 31 federal hydroelectric projects, one nonfederal nuclear plant and several small nonfederal power plants. The hydro projects are operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Department of Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation.
  • Angela Thompkins, CMS Energy’s vice president and chief diversity officer, will keynote the Women with Hydro Vision program. Consumers Energy is a subsidiary of CMS Energy. Thompkins is responsible for setting and monitoring the company’s diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) strategy, as well as partnering with leaders across the organization to improve results related to DEI.
