Abstracts deadline extended for HydroVision 2008

The deadline for abstracts has been extended to Sept. 28 for papers to be presented at HydroVision 2008, a biennial international hydropower conference and exhibition planned for the Sacramento Convention Center in Sacramento, Calif. The previous deadline was Sept. 4.

More than 2,000 professionals who work in hydro, including development, ownership, and operations, are expected to attend HydroVision 2008, scheduled for July 14-18, 2008. (HNN 8/24/07)

Abstracts are invited on all topics of interest to technical professionals in the hydropower field. Preference will be given to abstracts that focus on innovative, practical, and proven technologies and methodologies. Authors submitting abstracts could be invited to participate in the conference through paper presentations, panel discussions, or poster galleries.

Selected papers will be included in a conference publication distributed in CD-Rom format to all conference delegates.

Abstracts are limited to 400 words and can be submitted on the Internet at www.hcipub.com/hydrovision/abstracts.asp, and by e-mail to: techpapers@hcipub.com. If Internet access is unavailable, abstracts can be mailed to HCI Publications, 410 Archibald St., Kansas City, MO 64111 USA. Authors are to be notified of acceptance Nov. 2. Papers are due Feb. 18, 2008.
