Austria generator seeks equipment for 2.16-MW Gailitz

Karntner Elektrizitats AG (Kelag) invites applications for pre-qualification to supply a turbine-generator and shut-off valve for a new 2.16-MW Gailitz hydroelectric project on Austria’s Gailitz River. Responses are due November 15.

Kelag seeks a single Kaplan turbine and a three-phase synchronous generator plus an emergency shut-off valve for a new Gailitz project. It currently operates an existing small Gailitz plant in Austria’s Kaernten Republic.

Pre-qualification documents may be obtained from the address below until November 14. Applications for pre-qualification, in German, are due by noon November 15. Kelag expects to invite bids from pre-qualified firms about November 28.
