Austria utility seeks generator rehab at 80-MW Rosegg

Verbund Austrian Hydro Power AG invites bids to refurbish generator equipment for two units of the 80-MW Rosegg hydroelectric project on Austria’s Drau River. Bid documents must be obtained by February 1, with bids due by February 7.

Verbund seeks generator controls, excitation, and protection equipment for Rosegg, with an option to supply protection equipment to the 75-MW Ferlach project, also on the Drau. The work is to be carried out between May 2007 and December 2011.
