Austria utility seeks unit rehab for 138.1-MW Reisseck/Kreuzeck

Verbund Austrian Hydro Power AG seeks bids to refurbish two generators at the 138.1-MW Reisseck/Kreuzeck hydroelectric complex in Austria. Bids are due February 15.

Verbund seeks proposals for planning, supply, assembly, examination, start-up, and documentation of two three-phase alternating current synchronous generators, one of 11 megavolt-amperes and one of 25 MVa, for the Reisseck/Kreuzeck complex.

The six plants in the complex include 67.5-MW Reisseck yearly storage, 23.2-MW Reisseck daily storage, 45-MW Kreuzeck daily storage, 1.6-MW Niklai, 600-kW Muhldorf, and 200-kW Steinfeld.
