Basler Electric announces acquisition of E2 Power Systems

Basler Electric Company has acquired E2 Power Systems, which provides engineering and installation services to the power generation, power distribution and controls markets.

E2 PSI is based in Littleton, Colo., and has been in business for more than 30 years. The company’s knowledge and experience includes field service, system studies, NERC compliance testing, system upgrades and turnkey services, according to a press release.

The company’s website says “Our staff has successfully completed hundreds of upgrade projects on steam, gas and hydro units of which more than 50 have been done in the last year alone.”

Basler manufactures excitation systems, voltage regulation products, protection relaying equipment, and genset controllers.
