Consultants sought to review Rwanda studies, including hydro

The government of Rwanda invites expressions of interest from consultants to review feasibility studies of hydroelectric, gas, and peat-fueled projects proposed for Rwanda. Responses are due August 16.

With financing from the World Bank, Rwanda’s Energy, Water and Sanitation Authority (EWSA) recruited consultants in June to promote development of micro-hydropower in Rwanda.

EWSA now seeks a consultant to perform an independent assessment of studies related to proposed power projects for investment proposals. The work is expected to require three weeks.

Expressions of interest and qualifications are due August 16.
