Entura, a power and water consulting firm in Australia, has appointed business development managers in Australia and India.
In Melbourne, Akhil Pai has been named business development manager, power.
He has a degree in electrical engineering and more than 15 years of international experience in the power infrastructure sector, Entura says. His experience includes transmission and distribution and project management of electrical turnkey solutions for power infrastructure, with a focus on renewable energy.
Before joining Entura, Pai was head of regional sales and senior manager, power solutions for Siemens’ electrical and automation solutions business in Mumbai, India.
In New Delhi, Abhishek Swarnkar has been named business development manager, focusing on business development and sales in the south and southeast Asia regions.
Swarnkar has a degree in mechanical engineering and 12 years of experience in the hydropower industry, Entura says. His background includes hydropower design, project management, business development and sales for electromechanical equipment.
Before joining Entura, he was international business development, sales and marketing manager for Voith Hydro in south and southeast Asia and Africa.
Entura is part of Hydro Tasmania, Australia’s largest renewable energy producer and provides a full range of consulting services covering every aspect of major power and water projects, the company says.
