Czech firm awards additional TG rehab for 1.3-MW Nymburk

MVE-Nymburk s.r.o. of the Czech Republic has awarded a contract to a Czech firm to refurbish two turbine-generators at the 1.3-MW Nymburk hydroelectric project.

Hydropol Project &Management a.s. received a contract worth 101.2 million koruny (US$6.3 million) for reconstruction of Nymburk Units TG 1 and TG 3. Work is to include new Kaplan turbines, generators, and governors. (HNN 12/6/07)

MVE-Nymburk previously awarded a contract worth 17.48 million koruny (US$1.05 million) to Hydroservis Dooel Skopje of Macedonia to refurbish Nymburk Units TG 4 and TG 5. (HNN 3/24/08)
