Czech firm awards turbine-generator rehab for 1.3-MW Nymburk

MVE-Nymburk s.r.o. of the Czech Republic has awarded a contract to a Macedonia firm to refurbish two turbine-generators at the 1.3-MW Nymburk hydroelectric project in the Czech Republic.

Hydroservis Dooel Skopje received a contract worth 17.48 million koruny (US$1.05 million) for reconstruction of Nymburk Units TG 4 and TG 5, including new turbines and generators. Hydroservis Dooel was chosen from among three bidders.

MVE-Nymburk took bids in January for refurbishment of Nymburk Units TG 1 and TG 3. (HNN 12/6/07)
