Czech firm takes bids to equip Klastersky, Doudlevce small hydros

Hydro developer RenoEnergie a.s. seeks bids to equip two small hydroelectric projects, Klastersky on the Otava River and Doudlevce on the Radbuza River in the Czech Republic. Bids in separate solicitations are due February 18.

RenoEnergie awarded a contract in 2009 to Mavel a.s. to supply turbines and related equipment to the 2.65-MW Lovosice-Pistany 1 project in the Czech Republic.

The developer seeks firms to supply turbines and other equipment for both Klastersky and Doudlevce, working in concert with construction contractors.

The work at Klastersky is valued at between 6 million and 10 million koruny (US$343,542 and US$572,551). The work at Doudlevce is valued at between 7 million and 13 million koruny (US$401,014 and US$744,741).

Tender documents for each project may be obtained from the address below for 1,200 koruny (US$69).

Bids, in Czech, are due by noon February 18 for Klastersky and by 1 p.m. February 18 for Doudlevce.
