Dollard appointed VP at small hydro developer Gravity Renewables

Jonathan Dollard, P.E., is now vice president of engineering with Gravity Renewables, a developer of small hydro projects. In this position, Dollard will manage major capital projects, dam safety and regulatory affairs, as well as overseeing the technical development of Gravity’s portfolio of small hydro projects in seven states.

Previously, Dollard was vice president of engineering at Free Flow Power. Before that, he was part of the management team at Enel Green Power North America and was responsible for major capital projects and dam safety for more than 65 hydroelectric and other renewable energy projects across the U.S. Dollard has more than 25 years of experience in the hydroelectric industry.

“Jon is a highly respected engineer in the small hydro industry and we are excited to have him join our team,” said Ted Rose, chief executive officer of Gravity Renewables. “His experience will be invaluable as Gravity continues to grow.”

Gravity Renewables is based in Boulder, Colo., and has 30 MW of hydroelectric projects operating and under development in seven states. This includes the 10.26-MW Marseilles plant to be built in Illinois.
