German agency seeks civil rehab at 850-kW Klingenberg

The national dam administration agency of Germany’s Sachsen State invites applications for pre-qualification for intake and outlet works at 850-kW Klingenberg Dam. Responses are due January 19.

Landestalsperrenverwaltung des Freistaates Sachsen plans to seek bids for construction of intake and outlet structures for flood discharge at Klingenberg, which was built between 1908 and 1914. The contract is to include reinforced concrete work, hydraulic steel construction, technical equipment, and earthwork.

Documents may be obtained from the address below. Applications for pre-qualification are due by 4 p.m. January 19. A short-list of five to eight firms is to be invited to submit proposals.
