German utility seeks builders for 5-MW Teufelsbruck

E.ON Wasserkraft GmbH invites applications for pre-qualification to build the 5-MW Teufelsbruck hydropower project on the Inn River at Teufelsbruck, Germany. Responses are due November 24.

The utility seeks turnkey construction of the project, including construction of a sheet pile wall, turbine-generator, hydraulic steel construction, and other equipment. Work is to begin in August 2007 and be complete in March 2009.

Bid documents may be obtained from the address below. Applications for pre-qualification, in German, are due by 4 p.m. November 24. E.ON Wasserkraft plans to invite between four and eight short-listed bidders to submit proposals about February 20, 2007.
