Grant County PUD seeks proposals for dam foundation work

Grant County Public Utility District seeks proposals for rehabilitation of dam foundation drain holes at Priest Rapids and Wanapum dams, in the 1,893-MW Priest Rapids hydroelectric project. Proposals are due July 30.

A mandatory site inspection is scheduled July 24 at the district’s Wanapum Hydro Administration Engineering offices in Beverly, Wash.

The contractor is to use conventional re-drill methods with diamond-impregnated drilling equipment to perform the work. The district wants the work completed by Nov. 30.

Bid documents for solicitation No. 430-2633 are on the Internet at www.ebidexchange.com. Registration in the electronic vendor system is required to obtain documents.
