Guinea seeks pico hydro-diesel hybrid system

Guinea’s rural electrification agency seeks bids for supply and installation of a hybrid system of a pico hydroelectric plant and diesel generation. Bids are due April 17.

Bureau d’Electrification Rurale Decentralisee (BERD) seeks the combined pico (up to 5 kW) hydro plant and diesel generation for the rural development community of Bofossou in the Prefecture of Macenta.

It seeks supply and construction in two lots: Lot 1, hydroelectric station; and Lot 2, diesel power station and micro-distribution network. Companies can compete for one or both lots.

Tender documents, in French, may be obtained from the address below for 250,000 francs (US$50.35) or a freely convertible currency.
