Hepler joins Schnabel Engineering

Thomas E. Hepler, P.E., is now working for Schnabel Engineering.

Formerly, Hepler was a technical specialist with the Waterways and Concrete Dams Group of the U.S. Department of Interior’s Bureau of Reclamation.

He has more than 35 years of experience in hydraulic and structural engineering designs for concrete dams and appurtenant structures.
Hepler’s panel presentation session at HydroVision International 2012, When Does It Make Sense to Consider a Dam Removal?, was chosento receive an Attendees’ Choice Award.

Schnabel is an employee-owned company specializing in geotechnical, geostructural, dam and tunnel engineering, as well as environmental, geosciences, construction monitoring and resident engineering services. Hepler will work in the firm’s Greensboro, N.C., office.
