Hydro Foundation seeks executive director

The Hydro Foundation for Research and Education, formerly the Hydro Research Foundation, seeks expressions of interest from individuals to serve as paid part-time executive director.

The Hydro Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization that seeks to foster and advance waterpower research and education for the benefit of society. The executive director position currently is filled on an unpaid basis by the executive director of the National Hydropower Association.

The position is expected to require 300 hours per year. However, full-time efforts might be required at times for preparing proposals, grant applications, and the like.

Candidates from any U.S. location will be considered. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain his own office. A detailed job description is to be available by mid-June.
