India state seeks bids to build 1-MW Paharma

Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corp. (BSHPC) seeks bids by March 6 to build the 1-MW Paharma project, a canal-drop plant at Paharma in Rohtas District of India’s Bihar State. Requests for bid documents must be received by February 21. Work includes construction of a powerhouse, forebay, and tail pool.

Bid documents may be obtained from the address below until February 21 for 10,000 rupees (US$219) in cash or bank draft to BSHPC at Patna, plus 250 rupees (US$5.50) for delivery by post. A pre-bid meeting is set February 24. Site visits are required. Bids are due by March 6.
