India’s NHPC seeks structural steel for 800-MW Parbati 2

India’s National Hydroelectric Power Corp. (NHPC) seeks bids by 3 p.m. February 28 for 304 metric tons of structural steel for the 800-MW Parbati 2 hydroelectric project being built on the Parbati River in India’s Himachal Pradesh State. Estimated cost of the steel is 9.4 million rupees (US$206,034).

Bid documents may be obtained until 4 p.m. February 27 from the address below or from NHPC’s Internet site, www.nhpcindia.com. A document fee is required of 1,000 rupees (US$22), plus 100 rupees ($2.20) for return post, by demand draft to NHPC at State Bank of India, Bhuntar 3633.
