Killgore joins Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation

Mark Killgore, P.E., D. WRE, F.ASCE, has joined the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation as Region 2 dam safety engineer.

Killgore has more than 30 years of experience in the hydroelectric and dams sectors. He serves on the board of directors for the Hydro Research Foundation and is a member of the Water Power Hydro Basics steering committee to train new entrants to the hydro industry.

Previously, Killgore was director of strategic initiative on education with the American Society of Civil Engineers and hydro implementation and water resources manager with Puget Sound Energy.
