Montminy joins Stantec’s power and dams team in Quebec

Design firm Stantec has added Stephen Montminy to its power and dams team as the new regional business leader in Quebec.

Leading a team of more than 300 employees throughout the province, Montminy will play a key role in Stantec’s strategic positioning, overseeing operations management and ensuring the growth and profitability of the business line in Quebec, according to a press release.

Montminy is an electrical engineer with over 25 years of experience, including 10 in the power sector, and has held several executive management positions. He specializes in operations management, multidisciplinary team management and strategic development. He also completed Harvard Business School’s intensive professional service firms management program.

Previously, Montminy sat on the board of Quebec’s Consulting Engineering Association (AFG) from 2016 to 2019 and has been a member of AFG’s executive committee.
