NAES Corporation appoints new president and chief executive officer

NAES Corporation, a broad-based provider of services to the power generation industry, announced that John P. Brewster has been named president and chief executive officer.

Prior to joining NAES, Brewster was chief commercial officer of Composite Technology Corporation and president of its power transmission subsidiary, CTC Cable Corporation.

NAES provides a comprehensive array of services to industries that generate or consume power, including the hydropower industry.

Brewster’s background includes 32 years of experience in power plant operations, maintenance and executive management, NAES reported.

NAES, headquartered in Issaquah, Washington, has offices in six states and several international locations. NAES is the generation industry’s largest independent, third-party provider of operations and maintenance services and also serves the industry with specialized support services, annual and outage maintenance, construction and repair, gas and steam turbine inspections, mechanical shop repairs and the placement of technical personnel.

NAES is owned by ITOCHU International Inc., the U.S. affiliate of ITOCHU Corporation. With operations in more than 80 countries in a broad range of industries, ITOCHU is among the world’s largest corporations.
