Nominate a legacy facility for our Hydro Hall of Fame

Clarion Energy is looking for qualifying hydro plants to consider for induction into the Hydro Hall of Fame in 2019.

Qualifying criteria for consideration are essentially that the facility has operated for 100 years or more, providing reliable electricity to the grid. The hydroelectric facility cannot have been offline for more than six months.

Hydropower plants anywhere in the world are eligible. The 2019 class of inductees will be announced during the opening keynote session at HydroVision International in July 2019 in Portland, Ore., U.S.

To enter your plant for consideration, fill out the nomination form, available here, by scrolling to “Nominate Your Plant.”

Since the Hydro Hall of Fame award was created in 1995, more than 50 hydropower projects have been inducted.

Full details about eligibility and information about past Hydro Hall of Fame inductees are available on the Hydro Hall of Fame page here.
