Pakistan seeks engineering design for 87-MW Phandar

Pakistan invites applications for expressions of interest for engineering design and tender preparation of the 87-MW Phandar hydroelectric project on Pakistan’s Ghizar River. Responses are due July 3.

Pakistan’s Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) said the detailed engineering design and preparation of tender documents is to be undertaken by Pakistani consultants or a joint venture registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council.

Pre-qualification documents may be obtained from the address below for 2,000 rupees (US$33). Expressions of interest are due by noon July 3. WAPDA plans to invite a short-list of firms to submit proposals.
