The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) announces it has appointed Camilla Chalmers as its new Director of Development.
Chalmers, who succeeds Eva Oberender, will focus on “widening the scope of cooperation with current donors” and “identifying and pursuing new business and cooperation opportunities”.
REEEP says she will also lead its participation in consortia that apply for European Union and international tenders.
Chalmers joined REEEP in February 2006 and has since been responsible for many of the organization’s marketing activities.
“Camilla is the ideal person for this position,” says REEEP Director General Martin Hiller. “Her role is essential for guaranteeing that REEEP’s positive impact on clean energy markets continues to grow.”
The Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership is a non-profit agency that specializes in boosting market conditions for clean energy in developing markets. The organization says that, since its founding in 2002, it has acquire 400 partners and helped fund more than 150 projects.
