Turkey seeks interconnection of three hydro projects

Turkish Electricity Transmission Corp. (TEIAS) seeks bids for construction of transmission links to interconnect three hydroelectric projects. Bids are due February 14.

TEIAS said it intends to apply part of a World Bank loan to fund a 74-kilometer, 380-kilovolt single-circuit transmission line for the 150-MW Borcka, 670-MW Deriner, and 540-MW Yusufeli hydroelectric projects. The work, to be complete in eight months, is to include supply, construction, installation, commissioning, and testing.

Bid documents, in English, may be obtained from the address below for US$1,000 by bank transfer or direct deposit to TEIAS’ cashier in account No. 4063461 of Vakifbank Kizilay Branch Ankara/Turkiye.
