Ukraine utility OJSC UkrHydroEnergo seeks bids to supply voltage and current transformers for eight hydroelectric plants. Bids are due April 7.
With World Bank funding, the government of the Ukraine is carrying out a hydropower rehabilitation program to improve operational stability and reliability of hydroelectric plants. UkrHydroEnergo most recently awarded a contract to JSC Kremenchuk Electrotechnical Company Amper to supply medium voltage boards for nine hydroelectric projects. (HNN 1/22/08)
In the current solicitation, UkrHydroEnergo seeks bids for Bid No. UHE/T-HVT-10/08, Supply of 53 voltage and 199 current transformers for the eight plants: 444-MW Kaniv, 361-MW Kyiv (or Kiev), 225-MW Kyiv Pumped-Storage, 686-MW Kremenchuk (or Kremenchug), 352-MW Dniprodzerzhynsk, 702-MW Dniester (or Dnister), 651-MW Dnipro 1, and 661-MW Dnipro 2. The delivery period is four years.
