UPDATE – Montenegro extends trashrack bid date for 307-MW Perucica

Montenegro utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD-Niksic (EPCG) has extended the deadline for bids to supply a trashrack and trashrack cleaning machine for the 307-MW Perucica hydroelectric project. Bids now are due December 4.

EPCG originally called for bids by November 6 for the equipment, as part of refurbishment of Perucica on Montenegro’s Gornja Zeta River. (HNN 9/25/08)

The utility received US$9 million in financing from the World Bank and plans to invest another US$7.5 million for the Energy Community of Southeast Europe APL3 � Montenegro Project. Other procurement is to include spare turbine runners for Units 1 to 5 of Perucica and electric system transmission and telecommunications work. (HNN 10/16/07)

The current solicitation seeks replacement of a trashrack and trashrack cleaning machine at the bottom outlet of Vrtac Dam of the Perucica project.

A complete set of bid documents in English may be obtained by written application to the address below with a fee of 300 euros (US$442). Documents will be delivered by DHL at no cost to the bidder.

The document fee must be paid by direct deposit to the accounts below stating �Payment for ICB APL/6/08.�
