UPDATE – U.S. extends bid date for 10-MW Fontenelle

The Bureau of Reclamation has extended the due date for bids to supply and install a static excitation system for the 10-MW Fontenelle hydroelectric plant, on the Green River in Wyoming. The new due date is Sept. 11.

The contractor is to replace the station’s excitation system with a static pilot excitation system. Work will include removal of the existing system. BuRec said it intends to award a firm fixed-price contract.

The solicitation may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities’ Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. 08SP408235 in the �Quick Search� box. Bidders must register in the government’s Central Contractor Registration database, www.ccr.gov.
