Pennsylvania Renewable Resources Associates has named ACES Power Marketing to provide services for its 15-MW Conemaugh hydroelectric project in the Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland (PJM) transmission market.

ACES, of Carmel, Ind., is to provide power scheduling. It also agreed to help in PJM capacity auctions and to provide assistance in evaluating and developing strategies involving renewable energy credits.

Pennsylvania Renewable Resources Associates, a partnership with principal offices in New York, owns the hydro station (No. 3207), on the Conemaugh River in Pennsylvania.

ACES is a wholesale energy risk management and transaction company owned by 15 generation and transmission cooperatives and one distribution cooperative. PRRA is the company’s first independent power producer customer in the PJM market, and its first renewable resource customer in that market.
