U.S. seeks bids to repair damaged Louisiana dam

The Corps of Engineers requests proposals by June 8 to repair damage to John H. Overton Lock and Dam at J. Bennett Johnston Waterway on the Mississippi River in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. The dam was damaged in a barge accident.

In Solicitation No. W912EE-06-B-0023, the Corps invites proposals for all plant, labor, materials, and equipment for repairs to damaged components of Overton Dam. The estimated price of the work is from $1 million to $5 million.

Plans and specifications are available on the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTEDS) Internet site at www.fedteds.gov. Register on the Interested Vendor List at www.2fbo.gov.
