U.S. seeks engineering services for civil works projects

The Corps of Engineers seeks architect-engineer services to support planning for civil works projects within the Corps’ Northwest Division, mostly in the division’s Omaha District. Bids are due April 21.

The Corps said it would award one or two indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contracts to support professional planning services. One contract would have a maximum value of $9.5 million. A second contract would have a maximum value of $5 million. The contracts would have a base period of one year and four one-year option extensions.

Contractors are to provide integrated architect and engineering services, including preparation of decision documents, water resources and related planning studies, analysis and surveying, engineering design of plans, and specifications for construction, environmental compliance, and independent technical review. Project-related work could include evaluation, major rehabilitation, project planning efforts, and reports for purposes including hydropower improvements, dam safety and design, and fish passage.

The Corp anticipates awarding contracts in May.
