Voith Siemens is to supply two 240-MW reversible vertical Francis pump-turbines and governor equipment. The first unit is to be commissioned in 2011, with construction to be complete in 2012.
Poyry Energy business group previously received a 13 million euro (US$15.4 million) contract for detailed design and site supervision.
