Voltage control sought for Austria’s 179-MW Ottensheim-Wilhering

Verbund Austrian Hydro Power AG seeks applications for pre-qualification to replace voltage control systems for the 179-MW Ottensheim-Wilhering hydroelectric project on Austria’s Danube River. Responses are due by April 20.

Verbund seeks planning, supply, assembly, and connection to existing equipment of electric protection devices, plus disassembly and disposal of old equipment. Verbund recently called for renewal of switchgear for the project.
