Kazakhstan seeks construction supervision for Intumak rehab

Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture invites expressions of interest from consultants for construction supervision of the rehabilitation of Intumak Reservoir. Responses are due August 15.

With funding from the World Bank, the ministry’s Committee for Water Resources previously recruited contractors under the Nura River Clean-up Project for completion of the partially built Intumak Reservoir, also spelled Yntumak, including rehabilitation of the main dam, construction of a spillway, refurbishment of a bottom outlet, and construction of a 700-kW hydroelectric plant.
