Shoreline Foundation wins contract for St. Lucie project

The Corps of Engineers has awarded a $1 million contract to Shoreline Foundation Inc. to supply seven replacement tainter gates at the St. Lucie Lock and Dam in Martin County, Fla.

Pembroke Park, Fla.-based Shoreline will fabricate and install all seven gates. The contract calls for gates with molded rubber seals on the tops and sides. Also, new trunnion pins, cleaning, and painting are included.

In addition, Shoreline will dewater all seven gate bays using government-owned dewatering bulkheads stored on a hoist car in the St. Lucie Dam.
