Access four Waterpower Hydro Basics courses online during April HYDRO+

This month’s special three-day HYDRO+ series, Around the World with Hydro, also offers a valuable training opportunity for folks who are new to hydropower or need to get up to speed quickly.

On April 20 to 22, instructors are offering four important courses from our popular Waterpower Hydro Basics program, delivered in full as a 1.5-day program at HYDROVISION International each year.

The four sessions being offered virtually this month are:

Day-to-Day Operations, presented by Kenneth Odom with Southern Company

Natural Resource Stewardship: Instream Flows and Fish Passage, presented by Stephen Amaral with Alden

Natural Resource Stewardship: Dam Effect on Water Quality, presented by Mike Hreben with Kleinschmidt

How Projects are Regulated, presented by Emily Carter with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

These four sessions are available for a registration fee of $195.

HYDROVISION International and Hydro Review are hosting the completely virtual April HYDRO+ series on April 20 to 22, 2021. The free series will provide nearly a dozen timely content and education sessions, as well as peer-to-peer networking and matchmaking assistance between decision-makers and sellers.
