Video insights from HydroVision International: Kimberly Harriman, NYPA

Kimberly Harriman is senior vice president public and regulatory affairs with the New York Power Authority.

NYPA is the largest state public power organization in the U.S., operating 16 generating facilities and more than 1,400 circuit-miles of transmission lines. More than 80% of the electricity NYPA produces is clean renewable hydropower.

She is responsible for community and government relations, corporate communications, environmental justice and sustainability, and legislative and regulatory affairs. Harriman is also a member of NYPA’s executive management committee and serves as chairperson of the Canal Management Committee.

We had an opportunity to conduct a video interview with Harriman while she was attending HydroVision International.
