Equipment suppliers sought for French small hydro

Electricite de France (EDF) is qualifying companies to supply equipment to several small hydro projects annually over a period of several years.

EDF said it intends to install several groups of small hydro plants per year and seeks to qualify a panel of equipment suppliers for a three-year period in which it would issue invitations to tender.

Companies would be required to supply and commission turbine-generator sets of less than 12 megavolt-amperes, possibly including associated electrical and control equipment and equipment to deliver power to the transmission grid.

Qualification documents may be obtained from the address below. Applications for pre-qualification, in English or French, may be submitted to the same address.
