General Power Engineering Associates awarded Corps contract for Fort Randall work

OMAHA, Neb. 4/24/12 (PennWell) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a contract worth US$41,000 to General Power Engineering Associates Inc. for work at the 320-MW Fort Randall hydroelectric project.

The Corps solicited bids for the work, which includes the supply of thrust bearing coils, earlier this month

As per the contract, General Power Engineering will provide 30 right thrust bearing cooling coil pairs and 23 left pairs.
