Old Hickory to receive new tainter gate, lifting lug assemblies

NASHVILLE, Tenn. 4/26/12 (PennWell) — Jeffrey Chain L.P. has won a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for work at the 100-MW Old Hickory hydroelectric plant.

Jeffrey Chain is responsible for fabricating and delivering tainter gate hoist chain assemblies and lifting lug assemblies for the Old Hickory plant.

The Corps’ Nashville District most recently issued a solicitation for the work in February.
