Workshop co-located with HydroVision International focuses on Corps hydropower rehab program

A workshop co-located with HydroVision International 2011 in Sacramento, Calif., will present information about the Nashville District’s upcoming Hydropower Rehabilitation Program.

The event, called the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Industry Day Workshop, is planned for July 19 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. HydroVision International, the year’s largest gathering of hydropower professionals, is scheduled July 19-22, 2011, in Sacramento, Calif., USA.

The Corps rehab program will consist of hydropower plant rehabilitation and modernization work items. Tasks may include, but are not limited to maintenance and repair of existing hydropower facilities for the Nashville District’s Hydropower Major Rehabilitation program. Groups with prime-sub relationships or joint ventures will be considered, as well as firms having all disciplines in-house.

Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors all are invited to attend.
