The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has extended the deadline for proposals for hydroelectric environmental and engineering support services for a planned five-year program in the Office of Energy Projects.
The new due date is Aug. 10. FERC initially called for proposals by June 25. (HNN 6/7/07) FERC said it expects to make an award about Oct. 1.
The hydropower regulator anticipates awarding one time-and-materials task order contract as a result of the solicitation. Work is to be performed in accordance with a technical statement of work for the Office of Energy Projects.
In addition to extending the due date for proposals, FERC assigned a new number to the solicitation. The original number was FERC07-RFP-70726. The new number is FERC07-RFP-70873.
The RFP can be obtained from FERC’s Internet site at www.ferc.gov/about/offices/oed/oed-proc/hydro-env-and-eng-support-services.asp. In addition, FERC has posted on that site a question-and-answer document posed by potential bidders.
