FERC seeks bids for hydro engineering support

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission seeks proposals for hydroelectric environmental and engineering support services for a planned five-year program in the Office of Energy Projects. Proposals are due June 25.

The agency said it anticipates awarding one time-and-materials task order contract as a result of the solicitation, No. FERC07-RFP-70726. Work is to be performed in accordance with a technical statement of work for the Office of Energy Projects.

The 116-page request for proposals can be obtained from FERC’s Internet site at www.ferc.gov/about/offices/oed/oed-proc/hydro-env-and-eng-support-services.asp.

Proposals must be hand delivered by 3 p.m. June 25 to FERC, Attn.: Kevin Woody, 888 First St., N.E., Suite 41-29, Washington, DC 20426; (1) 202-502-6715. Offers delivered by e-mail, facsimile, or magnetic disk without complete supporting paper copy will not be considered.
