Did you know: Get your basic hydropower training during HYDROVISION Exchange


Did you know that this month’s HYDROVISION Exchange virtual event offers a valuable training opportunity for folks who are new to hydropower or need to get up to speed quickly?

On Monday, Nov. 16, instructors are offering four important courses from our Waterpower Hydro Basics program, intended to get new hires up to speed quickly or provide a valuable refresher course.

The four sessions are:

Harnessing the Water, presented by Juan Quiroz with Stantec

Turbine Basics, presented by Andrew Ware with American Hydro

Electrical System Basics, presented by David Thompson with HDR

Hydro in a Power System, presented by Francis Halpin (retired from the Bonneville Power Administration)

These four sessions are available for a registration fee of $195.

HYDROVISION International and Hydro Review are hosting the completely virtual HYDROVISION Exchange experience on November 16-19, 2020. The HYDROVISION Exchange will kick off with a powerful keynote address – featuring Bonneville Power Administration Interim Administrator and Chief Executive Officer John Hairston – and provide more than a dozen timely content and education sessions, as well as peer-to-peer networking and matchmaking assistance between decision-makers and sellers.
