IHC Merwede, PRUFTECHNIK partner in vibration measurement

IHC Merwede and PRUFTECHNIK announced they have formed a vibration measurement partnership to advance condition monitoring of dredgers.

Netherlands-based IHC Merwede is a world market leader in construction of specialized dredging equipment. It supplies the IHC Condition Monitoring Program based on eight measurement technologies including vibration measurements.

The companies said IHC Merwede is combining its expertise in design, production, and maintenance of ships with Belgium-based PRUFTECHNIK’s expertise in condition and vibration measurements. PRUFTECHNIK specializes in development and production of instrumentation for laser alignment and condition monitoring.

Both companies have extensive networks to provide global service. They said combining their specialties will allow them to provide top services in vibration measurement as part of IHC’s life cycle support concept.
