U.S. seeks operating procedures update for 6,809-MW Grand Coulee

The Bureau of Reclamation plans to seek bids for technical writing to update standing operating procedures for the 6,809-MW Grand Coulee project in Washington. A solicitation is expected to be issued about Oct. 16, 2009.

The agency now seeks services to update standing operating procedures for Grand Coulee’s Left Powerhouse, Pumping Generator Plant, Right Powerhouse, Third Powerhouse, switchyards, Grand Coulee Dam, and the industrial area for the Grand Coulee Power Office. The set-aside contract for small business seeks services to research and update current standing operating procedures, to coordinate review and verification process with BuRec staff, and to provide the Grand Coulee Power Office updated electronic standing operating procedure documents.

An electronic copy of the solicitation, No. R09PS10009, is to be available about Oct. 16 on the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov. Bidders must register with the Central Contractor Registration database, www.ccr.gov, and the On-line Representations and Certification system, http://orca.bpn.gov.
